About Sebastian Kowitz

Sebastian Kowitz is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of talpasolutions GmbH, where he drives the development of data-driven solutions to improve the availability and productivity of mobile heavy machinery.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mining Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and began his career at DMT in Essen. As a project engineer and technical advisor, he worked on international projects focused on optimizing mining operations in both surface and underground environments, with a strong emphasis on reducing technical downtime.

In 2016, he founded talpasolutions, building it into a technology leader in industrial AI and the digitalization of mobile heavy machinery. Today, OEMs and operators worldwide rely on talpasolutions’ advanced hardware and software solutions to enable more efficient, data-driven operations.
